As a foreign national, you can open a company in Croatia on equal terms with domestic entrepreneurs.
The law makes no distinction between local and foreign founders. The process is the same, with a few additional steps.
First of all, every founder must have an OIB, the Croatian tax identification number. Foreign nationals obtain it in person at the Tax Administration with their passport. The process is quick and usually takes one business day.
In addition, the company must have a registered address in Croatia. If you do not have your own premises, there are legal options such as using the address of an accounting firm.
The rest of the process is identical to that for domestic founders: notary public, registration with the commercial court, registration with the Tax Administration and opening a bank account.
We speak Croatian, Italian and English, so we can guide you through the entire process without any language barriers.
